Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of pwvoid.com and related websites, game services, forums, panels, and tools (collectively, the “Services”) operated by the PW Void community project (“we”, “us”, “PW Void”).

PW Void is a community-driven private server. We are not a registered company, corporation, or licensed publisher of Perfect World. By accessing or using the Services, you (“User”, “you”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services immediately.

2. Eligibility & restricted access

You must comply with our Denial of Service Notice. Employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates of Perfect World rights holders and related companies listed there may not use the Services.

You are responsible for ensuring that accessing a private server is lawful in your jurisdiction. The Services are offered on an “as available” basis to players who choose to participate at their own risk.

3. Accounts

You may register a free account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by your negligence, malware, credential sharing, or third-party breaches outside our control.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, game rules, or community standards, with or without prior notice.

4. Virtual goods & no commercial entitlement

In-game currency, items, characters, ranks, and other digital content have no real-world monetary value, are not your property, and may be modified, removed, or reset at any time for balance, maintenance, or abuse prevention.

Nothing in the Services constitutes a sale of goods or services with guaranteed delivery, uptime, or permanence.

5. Donations & payments

PW Void does not require payment to play. Any payment you make is a voluntary donation to help cover server hosting, development, and community costs. Donations are processed by third-party providers (e.g. PayPal). We do not store full payment card data on our servers.

• Donations are non-refundable by default.
• We do not tolerate chargebacks or payment disputes filed in bad faith. Accounts associated with chargebacks may be permanently banned and any credited virtual benefits may be reversed.
• Refunds or goodwill adjustments are granted only in exceptional circumstances or when we explicitly approve a per-user request at our sole discretion.
• Bonus currency or items granted with donations are discretionary perks, not purchased products.

By donating, you acknowledge that you are making a voluntary contribution, not buying a product with statutory consumer refund rights, and that you have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

6. Verification

We may require identity or payment verification for suspicious donations or account activity. Accounts under review may be limited until verification is complete. Information submitted may be used solely for fraud prevention and abuse investigation.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, bot, harass, or disrupt other players or staff
• Attempt unauthorized access to servers, databases, or admin tools
• Resell accounts, currency, or donation benefits for real money
• Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Services without permission
• Impersonate staff or rights holders

8. User content & submissions

Messages, uploads, guild icons, and other material you submit may be moderated or removed. By submitting content, you grant PW Void a non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate it within the Services. We are not obligated to publish or retain any submission.

9. Third-party content

Opinions expressed by players or third parties do not represent PW Void. We do not guarantee the accuracy of player guides, Discord messages, or external links. Use third-party content at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the game, website, or donations system will be error-free or permanently available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PW Void volunteers and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, accounts, virtual items, donations, or profits arising from your use of the Services — whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

12. Changes & termination

We may modify, suspend, or shut down any part of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on pwvoid.com. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Services.
